“Plastic Free Red Sea: An Art Exhibition to End Plastic Pollution” Opens in Eilat, Israel

Charles Brown, The Cultural Attache for the United States Embassy in Israel, welcomes visitors to the opening of “Plastic Free Red Sea: An Art Exhibition to End Ocean Plastic” at the Municipal Gallery in Eilat.  Project organizers Ziggy Livnat, together with curators Doron Polak and Sarit Nachshon, and with support from the National Geographic Society, the U.S. Embassy in Israel and the Municipality of Eilat,  are showing a selection of works by more than 40 of Israel’s most prominent professional artists, including a select group of local artists based in Eilat.  The exhibition runs through August at the Municipal Gallery in Eilat, and will open concurrently at the Box Gallery in Kansas City, MO later this summer – stay tuned!
